Connell L. Archey Promoted to Colonel and Appointed the Military Judge for the State of Louisiana

Major General Glenn H. Curtis, the Adjutant General for the Louisiana National Guard, officiated a ceremony promoting Connell L. Archey to the rank of Colonel in the Louisiana Army National Guard. The ceremony was held at Kantrow, Spaht, Weaver & Blitzer, and Connell's wife, Lori, and his three daughters were in attendance along with members of the firm. Connell has been in the military for twenty-nine years and is a Judge Advocate in the Louisiana National Guard. General Curtis emphasized the honor of being promoted to Colonel and how few achieve such rank. With the promotion, Connell has been appointed to serve as the Military Judge for the State of Louisiana. He will preside over courts-martial and other proceedings referred to him for disposition. Major General Stephen C. Dabadie, the Assistant Adjutant General for the Louisiana National Guard, Colonel John D. Dunlap, III, the State Judge Advocate, and other Judge Advocates within the Louisiana National Guard also attended.
