JACOB M. KANTROW has a transactional practice that includes corporate law, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures, formation of new business ventures, contract preparation and negotiation, corporate governance, general business advice, and other matters. Jacob serves a broad range of business clients, including those in the health care, telecommunications, insurance and service industries.

Jacob received his undergraduate A.B. degree from Princeton University in 2003. He received his joint J.D./B.C.L. degree in 2007 from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Editor-in-Chief of the Louisiana Law Review. After completing law school, Jacob clerked for the Honorable Jacques L. Wiener, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.


Jacob is a member of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana State and American Bar Associations.


Jacob serves on the Board of Directors of Louisiana Resource Center for Educators, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation whose mission includes the support of environmental education in K-12 schools.
